P010 Evaluation of Montgomery consent in nonmelanoma skin cancer surgery

Rehman, Sooda
Abstract
There are multiple options for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSC), which have different risk and benefit profiles. The landmark Montgomery vs Lanarkshire ruling in 2015, obligated United Kingdom healthcare professionals to inform patients of materially significant information prior to granting informed consent. Material risk is subjective and it depends on each individual clinical situation.
