Excisional biopsy revealed a multinodular basaloid tumor, located within the dermis and subcutaneous fat that extended into skeletal muscle at the deep and peripheral margin. Histology was consistent with trichoblastoma. A review of the literature reveals a lack of specific and sensitive immunohistochemistry markers to establish the diagnosis of trichoblastoma. Following reconstruction, the patient has shown no signs of recurrence of the lesion at 24 months.Full text uploadedenCC BY-NC 4.0https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/OphthalmologyPeriocular Trichoblastoma: A Diagnostic DilemmaJournal Articlehttps://gerr.openrepository.com/bitstreams/1e57dace-df35-4de2-8be9-d9284f24b5ab/download
